Robert G. Lewis received his B.S. in Genetics from the University of California, Irvine and is currently a Ph.D. Candidate in Biomedical Sciences at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine. His central focus is on biopharmaceutical due diligence consulting as well as life science and healthcare technical writing consulting for application-based funding.
Mr. Lewis previously worked as a healthcare technical writing consultant for an opioid and alcohol addiction recovery center seeking to obtain a multimillion-dollar federal grant from the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation. He has also been involved in life science due diligence consulting projects involved in diagnostics using machine learning and cancer immunotherapies.
As a research scientist, Mr. Lewis has been the recipient of research excellence awards and has published his work in high-impact peer-reviewed scientific journals such as Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the USA and Cell Reports. Over his career, he has had an excellent track record of being selected for application-based funding opportunities for his work on neurological and psychiatric disorders related to the dopamine system.
